Sprint into the Collapsing City
무너지는 도심 속으로의 질주

미래적이고 강인한 조형미를 지닌 람보르기니를 메인 차량으로 설정하여 무너져 내리는 도시의 잔해 사이를 가로지르는 압도적인 속도감을 연출하고자 했습니다.
끊어진 도로 사이를 도약하는 역동적인 무브먼트는 완성된 공간이 아닌 붕괴하는 무질서 속에서만 발현되는 광적인 에너지를 연출한 결과입니다.
단순한 파괴가 아닌 공간의 입체적 맥락을 부여하기 위해 고가도로와 빌딩이 무너져 내리는 VFX 기반의 파괴 시뮬레이션을 진행했습니다. 특히 거대한 스케일감을 부여하는 자욱한 연기와 무작위로 비산하며 떨어지는 도로의 파편들, 그리고 통제력을 잃고 추락하는 차량들의 배치는 영상의 긴장감을 직관적으로 인지하게 만드는 핵심적인 장치입니다.
나아가 파괴의 명확한 이유를 제시하지 않음으로써 보는 이로 하여금 상상력을 발휘하게 하고, 이를 통해 다양한 해석과 맥락이 탄생하는 열린 서사를 의도했습니다.
By selecting the Lamborghini—known for its futuristic and powerful form—as the primary vehicle, I aimed to capture an overwhelming sense of speed amidst the urban wreckage. The dynamic movement of leaping across severed roads is the visual manifestation of a "manic energy" that arises only within crumbling disorder, rather than a perfected space.
To infuse the space with a multi-dimensional context, I developed a VFX-based demolition simulation of collapsing overpasses and skyscrapers. The dense smoke conveying a massive scale, the randomly scattering debris, and the strategic placement of plummeting vehicles serve as essential mechanisms that allow the audience to intuitively perceive the scene's tension. Furthermore, by intentionally omitting a clear cause for the destruction, I aimed to provoke the viewer's imagination, creating an "open narrative" where diverse interpretations and contexts can emerge.
